CND Creative Play Polish RSVPlum Naughty or Vice Stellarbration Easy Holiday Party Nail Art Ombre Glitter

Your calendars are most likely filling up quickly with holiday parties and besides figuring out what to bring as a hostess gift, what to wear, and how you are going to make through the season, you need to figure out a quick mani idea. This glitter ombré look is very festive with the stars and glitter and season appropriate with the jewel tone colours.

An extra bonus is that this mani is super easy to achieve so it is perfect to squeeze in between all those parties.

NYX Sweet Cheeks Blush Palette Review Swatches

I always want more and more shades of any type of makeup product. It's definitely a problem for my bank account. It can also be a problem for my makeup storage. So when I received the NYX Sweet Cheeks Blush Palette after the NYX After Dark party a little while ago, both of those issues were solved.

This palette contains 8 different blush shades and retails for $20 US/$29.99. Now I know that $30 for a drugstore brand is a little expensive but each blush works out to $3.75 which makes this seem much more affordable. I've swatched out all 8 blush shades for this post and have a few thoughts about the palette as well.

Real Techniques Miracle Sculpting Sponge Mini Eraser Sponge Review

In a world full of Beauty Blender wannabes, you never really know which ones are going to be good or duds. I think Real Techniques has figured out the secret though. I really enjoy the original, orange Miracle Complexion Sponge so when I saw that there were new offerings from Real Techniques, I knew I needed to pick them up.

There are two new additions to the sponge family, the Miracle Sculpting Sponge and the Miracle Mini Eraser Sponge. I've been testing these out for awhile since I picked them up at Rexall.

Constellation Stars Nail Art Design Science

Centuries ago, constellations helped guide explorers across countries and oceans. They also helped shape the Zodiac signs that we have all read up on (even if you don't believe in it). These grouping of stars have been thought of as the oldest picture book for humanity and now they can even serve as inspiration for your next mani.

A nerdy way to create a unique nail art design and all you need is a nail art brush, a dotting tool and a few polishes to complete the look. Add the constellation of your zodiac sign to make it a more personal design.

MAC D for Danger Lipstick Double-Gleam Extra Dimension Skinfinish Swatch Review

A very quick post tonight but it features two gorgeous products from MAC that I picked up earlier this week. I went to MAC with a coworker to pick out a lipstick for her for our holiday party in a few weeks. I ended up pulling D for Danger lipstick for her to try and well I fell in love.

Of course my eye also caught a glimpse of something shiny which happened to be the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Double-Gleam. That just had to come home with me too, especially after I swatched it.

I have swatches below of the two products. But as they are such new additions to my collection, I really only have first impressions of them.

Essie Winter 2016 Nail Polish Collection Review Swatch Swatches Ready to Boa Satin Sister Party on a Platform Getting Groovy Oh Behave! Go with the Flowy

If you saw most recent Mani Monday post, you will know that I recently attended an event for the Essie Winter 2016 Collection where I was able to meet Global Colour Curator Rebecca Minkoff and Lead Educator and Nail Artist Rita Remark. The collection is inspired by the mod era in London and has some great colours that are definitely more unique for a winter collection.

I have swatches of all 6 polishes which you can find in stores now and retail for $9.99. All of the swatches are 2 coats.

Essie Winter 2016 collection nail polishes Mod Nail Art Design Rita Remark Inspiration

Last week I headed to an Essie event for the Winter '16 collection which was curated by handbag extraordinaire and Essie's Global Colour Designer Rebecca Minkoff. The collection is inspired by London in the 1960s and Lead Nail Educator and Artist Rita Remark created a perfect mod mani with some of the polishes. I just had to try my hand at recreating her design because it is so much fun and very different from anything I've done before.

Paula's Choice Radiance Renewal Mask Acure The Magical Wonderfluff Review

You would think that after trying all of this skincare over the past couple of months that my skin would be screaming at me to stop. Surprisingly, it's not. And I think it's because I've lucked out with some amazing products.

The latest two additions to my skincare experiments are the Paula's Choice Radiance Renewal Mask and the Acure The Magical Wonderfluff. Both products that you apply before bed and leave on overnight.

Joe Fresh Beauty CC Translucent Pressed Powder Universal Beauty Balm Universal Brow Sculpting Wax Eye Shadow Palette in Neutrals Review Swatches

Typically I would have to go down to my local Joe Fresh or Loblaws to look at the Joe Fresh Beauty collection. But with the merging of President's Choice and Shoppers Drug Mart, you can now find Joe Fresh Beauty in your local SDM's aisles.

I was able to try out a few products from the collection—an eyeshadow palette, the universal brow wax, a beauty balm, and a translucent powder. Keep reading to see what I loved and what kind of missed the mark!
